first day of my internship, down. everyone at the office is really nice and i spent my first day writing drafts of letters to constituents that had written in. all in all a good first day. back to the grind of my job tomorrow with a 7-3 shift… oy.

well, my first day at work was definitely exhausting. physically, i didn’t eat for the 7 hours i worked and did not sit down once. mentally, everyone was artsy and i looked really frumpy in my workout clothes, and it was exhausting to try and learn everything. plus, everyone already knows each other so i’m feeling a little left out. oy. but all in all not too bad. tomorrow i start my internship which i couldn’t be more excited about!

i start work tomorrow. i’m really nervous as my first two weeks are a “trial period” and i’m not sure i necessarily know what that means. so naturally, i have convinced myself that i will be fired after two weeks.
i need cute business formal and business casual clothes for my internship which starts tuesday. and nothing fits my body because i am petite and curvy ugh.
i need new books to read. desperately.
i also really miss my boyfriend who just needs to get back from bonnaroo already and call me
being alone is exhausting and all i want to do is go out partying right now
